THE RETURN

Admittedly there has been some radio silence around these parts lately.  This quote pretty much sums it up.  I'm not sorry I stepped away and took some time to regroup, including a wonderful vacation and lifelong memories made with my family (some of which, I'll be sharing here soon).  I am sorry if I've left anyone wondering without explanation and I have missed creating for this blog. 

I'm a big culprit of saying 'yes' to too many things, all while trying to lead a 'balanced' life.  Between a busy few months for my day job, freelance clients, planning our wedding, and the blog among many other things, something had to give.  I was creatively drained.  Rather than try to force out lackluster content, I'd rather keep the integrity of this blog so I decided to take a break to renew my creative juices.  I'm also working on saying no more often, especially to projects that don't necessarily fit with the vision I have for myself or Julip Made moving forward.

This was a time to refresh, a time to live completely in the moment, and a time to make some progress on other projects and goals in my life.  Our wedding, now almost just six months away is slowly coming together with vendors falling into place and I couldn't be more thrilled.  Soon I'll be at the detail/DIY phase creating lots of goodies for the big day.  I debated whether to share it with you all here on the blog, but that would take away the surprise of the big day for our guests and the thrill of the reveal with you all post wedding.  I will however be sharing some of the wedding ideas that I don't end up using in addition to a host of other entertaining content.

With some other projects out of the way, expect Julip Made to be back with a bang and a slightly altered focus skewing even more towards entertaining and events, with some wedding and house updates sprinkled in.
