CARDAMOM SPIKED COFFEE

Julip Made Cardamom spiked coffee2 Having gone to school in upstate New York and having survived some of the freezing cold nights walking across the gorges with the FROZEN waterfall below, I learned that a great way to warm up is a hot spiked drink.  Hot toddy's are one delicious option and especially good when you have a cold. Another equally warming option is this cardamom spiked coffee.  It offers warmth, caffeine (obviously another plus), and the slightest hint of spice.  I'd suggest serving this for dessert alongside with these possibly following an ice skating session or in sympathy with the team USA athletes while competing this February.
Julip Made Cardamom spiked coffee1 Ingredients:
(4 servings)

  • 1 pot of coffee (I use my french press)
  • 2-3 cardamom pods
  • 3 oz whiskey
  • 2 tablespoons sugar

  1. I love this idea! Cardomom is one of my favorite spice smells but I never use it enough.

  2. This sounds absolutely perfecttt -- I hate how lots of hot toddy's can become over-sweetened but this one sounds like the perfect version!
