We recently threw a less than traditional bridal shower for a more than awesome bride, who a tulips and pink bow shower, just wouldn't have been right for. Her wedding is Halloween themed so we felt it would only be appropriate to throw her a Dia de los Muertos shower. Think a delicious taco bar, margaritas, bright colored florals, and beautiful creep skulls. 
I'll be sharing the menu and some of the recipes next week, but for the decor, we used the following:- candles from the Dollar Store for the tables and as favors
- large plaster skull, painted with acrylics
- smaller styrofoam skulls, spray painted white and painted with acrylics
- cactus margarita glasses from the Dollar Store (can you believe these were only a $1 each)
- bright local florals from Trader Joe's
- striped table runner
Such an unusual yet incredibly inspiring theme -- looks like you did an incredible job with it, love the blue corn tortillas!
