The second was a series by another Liz from What Dress Code? about a topic I've recently been thinking a lot about: living in the now and keeping balance between blog, work, and real life. Responding to her questions were even helpful to me to think a few things through so check it out and let us know if you've figured this work/blog/life balance out yet either.

Great pics -- Chicago is definitely high on my list of must-visit cities! And thanks for the shout-out, enjoyed kicking off the series!

Hi Julie! Meg here - we were in the same class year at Cornell. I just stumbled across your blog via the Everygirl and am so happy I found it! What a great eye you have. Oh how I wished I had studied graphic design at Cornell! Lol! I'm glad you enjoyed Chicago (I live in a suburb of Chicago). Would love to chat sometime about blogging, entertaining, cooking, nostalgia for Cornell, or all of the above! xo, Meg
ReplyDeleteI love Chicago too!! Countless great things about that city. Glad you enjoyed it!
ReplyDeleteI live in the Chicago suburbs- the next time you come, you must visit a little bohemian cafe called the Bourgeois Pig. It's in Lincoln Park, easily accessibly by the "L" train, and has the most amazing food and atmosphere. Be sure to bring a book or a good friend. I always end up staying a while.
ReplyDeleteLOVE these photographs. I've been dying to plan a trip to Chicago and these photos are making me want to go even more. Glad to hear you had a great time!
ReplyDeletemy city! great photos.
ReplyDeleteYou visited some of my favorite spots in the city!!
