The Negroni, although not hugely popular, but becoming more so in the U.S., is an Italian apéritif. It is made bitter by the campari, but sweetened a bit by the sweet vermouth. It is a refreshing drink for the spring and summer, and even more so if you add some club soda.

Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 ounces gin
- 1 1/2 ounces sweet vermouth
- 1 1/2 ounces campari
- lemon twist
- club soda, to lighten if you wish

- In a cocktail shaker over ice, mix the gin, sweet vermouth, and campari.
- Pour over ice in an old fashioned or highball glass.
- Garnish with a lemon twist.
- Enjoy!

This looks sooooo good!! I'll have to try it out!! :)
