This past weekend I had the pleasure of helping host a holiday pop-up shopping event with Outfitted at Ozio Restaurant & Lounge in Dupont. The space was a light filled and airy loft, perfect for getting great photos, shopping, and sipping cocktails with friends. A big thank you to Arielle from Outfitted and Penelope & Coco for asking me to help her host and design a special cocktail for all of the guests. See this post for ingredients and instructions for reproducing the cocktail yourself. See more for additional photographs and details of each of the brands present...
VIRGO, a downtown L.A. re-purposed vintage store had racks of awesomeness including several capes and this leather sleeved sweatshirt that I was obsessed with, but unfortunately (or fortunately for my wallet) was not in my size.
Penelope & Coco, is an L.A. based contemporary women's footwear brand. Their pieces are a mix of Penelope: a classic, traditional beauty vs. Coco: an eccentric wild child; the brand name was born and should not be missed.
The lovely Tammy from A Loyal Love, Carlis from SpicyCandyDC, and Jamie from High Heeled Traveler.
And two of these lovely ladies awesome kicks. Guess whose is whose?
A cocktail closeup, speaking of which, if you or your brand are interested in working with me to design a custom cocktail, menu, event, or are interested in co-hosting an event with me, please contact me at julipmade@gmail.com. I'd love to work with you!
Skylar, the stylist extraordinaire turning my pin straight hair into luscious, wavy locks. Seriously people, she worked wonders because my hair won't normally hold a curl, but these lasted well into the next morning. If you want to hire her contact her at swhitehurst21@gmail.com. See the results below.
With my lovely fellow hostess Arielle.
MINK PINK brought some fun printed flowy pieces definitely worth checking out.
Luv AJ,another L.A. based small business that designs beautiful and very elemental/ rugged, but at the same time refined pieces. See my instagram account for examples of how I've worn the piece I ended up buying.
Finally, Plush, a knitwear company offered up some cozy, but stylish options for keeping warm this winter.
And of course no blogger event would be complete without some delectable sweets from Sprinkles. Thank you to all those who came out to show your support and shop!
P.S. If you haven't yet, it is your LAST DAY o enter my JewelMint giveaway here!
