The next
DIY holiday gift I made is a simple cocktail rimming sugar with a twist... well several twists... Spicy, Sweet, and Salty. This rimming sugar was created for
this cocktail, but pairs well with
this one,
this one, and t
his one too! See after the jump for ingredients, recipe, and more...

Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup brown sugar, fine
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup salt
- 2 teaspoons Chipotle chile pepper
- Mix all ingredients together in a bowl or your gift tin.
- To rim cocktail glasses take either wet paper towel or citrus wedge and rub around the rim. Dip the glass in the rimming sugar.
- Pour in drink. Enjoy!
**Note I find that using a citrus wedge keeps the sugar in place better than a wet paper towel.

To wrap this present, I found tins in the $1 bin at Target. I removed the labels and wrote on them with gold Jelly pen and green Sharpie. Using simple red and white baker's twine from Paper Source I tied each tin as an individual package. Although they can either be gifted individually, paired with a corresponding simple syrup (DIY gift post on this to come), or given as a set.
