Braga, Portugal. Flowy silk printed pants everywhere. |
As a special edition of
the European Diaries, I have some street style snaps I took in Portugal, Spain, and Paris. Although the styles differed between country, there were definitely stylish ladies all over and some common trends that emerged. Colorful or printed silk wide-leg pants like
these were seen all over. Casual lace up
ankle boots or
chuck's were worn with everything from maxi skirts,
bleached denim, to cutoffs. An of course it wouldn't be Paris without an LBD,
heels with bows, and a killer pair of
sunglasses (cat eye of course). See below for more street style snaps and how to get the look...
 |
Paris, France. An adorable couple and some awesome red Chuck Taylors. |
 |
Paris, France. She pulls of a striped maxi and army boots. |
 |
Santiago de Compostela, Spain. Flowing silk pants, tribal patterned bag, and lemon lace top. |
 |
Braga, Portugal. Love the color combo of tangerine and periwinkle and those printed brogues. |
 |
Paris, France. Casual cool with sexy cutoffs and paddock boots. |
 |
Paris, France. That hair, the glasses, and the blazer. |
 |
Paris, France. These could be an awesome DIY for old white jeans. |
 |
Paris, France. LBD, wedges with bows, simple pony, dog, and baguette included. |
Do you notice street style or local fashion when you are on vacation?
PS. I am over at
inspiration COOPERATIVE today sharing a mini-view into my life and answering the famous Proust questionnaire so
head on over!
Love this post!! My fav picture is the first one with the girls & also that adorable couple :) I want red chucks now <3
ReplyDeleteSuch effortless style. Especially loving the third to last.
ReplyDeleteI love European style! So different :)
ReplyDeleteI always notice street style wherever I am, but I've never thought to capture it the way you have. So smart, and you did such a great job! I love getting a glimpse at what people are wearing in the cities you visited. I bet there was endless style inspiration all around you.
ReplyDeletePS~Julie, thanks so much again for stopping by today. It was so fun having you.
Braga is the best city in the world. I live there!
ReplyDeleteThis might be my favorite post you've ever done! Brava on the photos! Please tell me exactly what you did to get them looking so sharp and vibrant. Are you still using the same camera and what lens did you take these with?
ReplyDeleteThanks Sab! Beaming over here. Honestly, I'm still using my Canon Rebel T3 and the 18-55mm lens. Nothing special going on, but finally figuring out how to use the completely manual mode has made my pictures better.
DeleteAhhh... love these styles, especially the flowing silk pants, I could so live in Europe. BTW - my fav about the first photo is the reflection of the old architecture in the modern mirrored windows.Magnifique!
ReplyDeleteYou are gifted when it comes to detecting stylish scenes and quickly photographing them. In most pictures, simplicity is prominent, yet it didn't undermine the style of the outfits.
