Peanut Butter Puppy Pops

005 After watching the Boy get to taste all of my culinary creations, Odin was feeling a bit left out and with temperatures soaring in DC this summer, I decided to make him Peanut Butter puppy popsicles. They are super easy and take maybe 20 minutes maximum and I guarantee your dog will be begging (literally) for more.  See after the jump for ingredients and recipe...
001 Ingredients:
  • 1 cup Greek Yogurt
  • 1/4 cup Peanut butter ( I use chunky)
  • ice cube tray
002
  1. Heat peanut butter in microwave for 30 seconds to warm slightly.
  2. Mix peanut butter and Greek yogurt well.
  3. Using a spatula, smear into ice cube tray.  Let puppy lick excess off the tray.
  4. Freeze for approximately 15- 20 minutes.
  5. Pop of out tray and let the pup enjoy!
What are your dogs favorite summer treats? Do they have a weird obsession with popsicles and frozen things like Odin does? He doesn't normally beg, but when I am eating a popsicle, he will sit in front of me with the most serious expression on his face.  Eventually he'll make these terrible, gut wrenching whining noises to the point you think he is in severe pain. Weirdo!
