Sugar and Spice(d) Pineapple Rum Punch

010 This is my take on a rum punch with a twist... a salty, sugar, and spiced rim!  The sweet pineapple juice is balanced out by the spice in the rim while the coconut water really makes this a refreshing summer drink.  See after the jump for ingredients and recipe...
014 Ingredients (for 2 drinks)

  • 1 ounce dark rum
  • 1 ounce light rum
  • 1 ounce coconut rum
  • 4 ounces pineapple juice, fresh or canned
  • 4 ounces coconut water
  • 1/3 cup frozen pineapple pieces
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon course salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon chili pepper powder
  1. Rub a wet paper towel around rim of glasses, dip in mix of sugar, spice, and chili powder.
  2. In a shaker, mix dark rum, light rum, coconut rum, pineapple juice, and coconut water.
  3. Split frozen pineapple pieces between the two glasses.
  4. Pour rum punch over top and enjoy!
