This shandy is a classic that my grandfather use to drink all the time when we'd spend sweltering summers up in the Eastern Townships of Quebec. It can be served with or without beer and is just as good with both. This past weekend was one for the record books with even Odin not wanting to go outside. After an outdoor excursion, we came inside and made giant Mason jars full of these to watch the Euro Cup. See more after the jump for ingredients and recipe...
Ingredients:- 1/2 cup lemonade
- 1/2 cup ginger beer
- 1/2 cup beer (optional, but highly recommended)
- 1 teaspoon rosemary simple syrup
- rosemary sprig for garnish
- lemon slices for garnish
- Mix lemonade, ginger beer, beer, and rosemary simple syrup over ice in a large glass (mason jars work really well too).
- Garnish with rosemary sprig and lemon wedges.
- Enjoy!
