Color Craving... Camel

Horse - Shelli Breidenbach | Shirt - JAK & JIL | Books - Dark & Hollow Places Camel |Peacoat - The Three F | Couch - Apartment Therapy  | Camel - In Spiritual Wonder | Caramel - Annie Eat's |
Camel is a workhorse of a color.  It can function in a neutral look or act as grounding element for a bright color like a pop of neon, bubblegum pink, or bright red.  Camel is classic, but trendy at the same time.  I can also guarantee that if you invest in a few classics in camel, such as a wool pea-coat, trousers, pumps, or leather satchel, they will never go out of style.

See after the jump for some ways to introduce
camel into your life...

1. Lonely Planet - The Travel Book | 2. Thomas Paul - Thoroughbred Baby Alpaca Throw | 3. Forever 21 - Feathered Fedora (similar) | 4. Fendi - FS5014 | 5. J. Crew - Knitted Wool Cape | 6. Jonathan Saunders for Smythson- Two Toned Leather Journal | 7. Pour La Victoire - Larkin | 8. 3.1 Phillip Lim - Pocketed Satin-twill Shorts
What is your workhorse color?  What colors to you pair camel with?

  1. Camel is such a great color - I love pairing it with coral.

  2. This color is just gorgeous, and often overlooked. Also that caramel is making my mouth water.

  3. Simply gorgeous and completely timeless! I love Becca's idea of pairing it with coral. I love it with pearl, soft grey.

  4. lovely inspiration! that travel book looks so cool! i added to my amazon wish list :)

    1. I bought it for my aunt for Christmas a year back and got to spend some time perusing before wrapping up... definitely worth it!
