Blue Hawaiin Mojito...

055 This is a drink we whipped up at our Oscar party in honor of The Descendant's, which takes place in Hawaii. The blue agave adds the sweetness that the turbinado sugar does in a traditional mojito, but with a more subtle note and with the added benefit of a color pop!  I'd also recommend adding a splash of pineapple or coconut juice if you have it!
061 Ingredients:
  • 1.5 ounce white rum
  • 3 ounces club soda
  • 1/2 ounce lime juice
  • 1/2 ounce blue agave syrup
  • lime slices, halved
  • handful of mint leaves
  1. In a high ball glass, muddle several of the lime wedges and mint together.
  2. In a cocktail shaker, over ice, mix the rum, club soda, lime juice, and blue agave syrup.
  3. Pour into the high ball glass and stir.
  4. Garnish with another lime wedge and enjoy!

  2. Totally delish. You've got me wanting a drink already and it's only 11:45 here. Sigh... It's 5:00 somewhere, right?
