If you follow me on Twitter you know that for me this week has been a SUCKY one. On Thursday we had to say goodbye to my girl/ best friend of 13 years, Luna. I've been pretty bummed, but somewhat relieved because as cliche as it sounds, I know she is no longer confused or frustrated as to why she isn't working properly. I like to think she is now somewhere in doggy heaven with her brother, Zorro, chasing squirrels, racing to sticks in the pond and having their typical wrestling battles.
Instead of being sad, I am grateful that I got to have such an amazing, smart, perfect dog to grow up with. She really was my little side kick with matching personality to boot. I know everyone says that their dog is the smartest dog ever, but Luna really was. Actually, she was more like a person than a dog, with the most human-like expressions you almost knew what she'd say if she could talk. She will be missed!
