Ginger Caipirinha...

074 This is a little something, something my mom whipped up for the chefs while we were cooking Christmas dinner. It is a festive spin on the Caipirinha, my favorite drink. Also the hint of ginger helps soothe your stomach before ingesting mass quantities of holiday food or at least that was my excuse for drinking 3.
072 Ingredients:
  •  1/2 lime, cut into wedges
  • 1.5 tablespoons sugar
  • approximately 1/2 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 2 ounces cachaca
  • mint leaves for garnish and you can add some for muddling too!
  1. Put lime, sugar, ginger, and mint in mixer.  Muddle.
  2. Add ice and cachaca. Garnish with mint or more lime wedges.
  3. Enjoy!

What is your favorite holiday cocktail?

  1. YUM. I drank A LOT in Mexico and my favorite was the mojito. So light and refreshing and they sneakily get you tipsy.

  2. Your photos are so awesome! You're getting good with the camera.
