Blood Orange Margarita...

021 Ingredients:
  • 1 oz Triple Sec
  • 2 oz Tequila
  • 3 oz blood orange juice
  • 1/2 oz lime juice
  • salt for rimming the glass
** Note I also used leftover pink grapefruit granita that I had made for NYE in place of ice.  Sooo delicious and I'd highly recommend it!** See rest of recipe below.

  6. I have an unhealthy obsession with blood oranges. How many oranges did you squeeze to get enough juice? Or do you buy blood orange juice? If so, you must tell me immediately where they sell it.

    1. Kelly - I found fresh Blood Orange juice at the Fresh Market this past weekend and it was to die for in a mimosa. I think I may have also seen it at Whole Foods. Hopefully there's one close to wherever you live!

Julie, this looks delicious - cannot wait to try!
