Color Craving... Hunter

Top left, top center, top right, bottom right, bottom left, center.
A dark, rich green, hunter green was originally used by hunters in the 19th century, but for me, it signifies holiday time.  Think evergreen boughs, pine scented candles, excursions to pick out the perfect tree...  Hunter green also reminds me of my equestrian days as hunter and navy were my "show teams" colors.  Currently, I'm thinking of adding a little hunter to my life with some nail polish, a scented pine candle, and I am in dire need of new L.L. Bean moccasins.  Those babies are amazing and pretty much got me through my years at school in upstate New York.  See more for how to wear hunter...

How do you wear hunter green? What colors remind you of the holidays? 



  1. I'm with you on the hunter green, it's def. holiday time when it comes out. Any deep colors remind me of the changing seasons, red and orange included!
