Weekend Recap

julipmade92
Pork and apple pot pie with rosemary Gruyere crust. Nom nom.
It is finally my favorite month of the year and finally starting to feel like fall around here!  This weekend was a cold rainy one, perfect for vegging out, cooking and eating like gluttons, and overall hibernation.  We went grocery shopping and pretty much filled our cart with all things fall.  Then cooked our hearts out... ate, drank, and were merry.  This weekend also gave me a chance to cross a few things off my 25 before 25 list as it is NEXT WEEKEND.. GAHHH!

julipmade101
Fall scents and lemon timer, waiting for yuminess to come out of the oven.  What is your favorite fall scent?
julipmade93
Girls night in filled with popcorn, prosecco, nail painting, gossip, and Some Like It Hot.  Marilyn was gorgeous and Mr. Jack Lemon was HILARIOUS.  Anyone going to see My Week with Marilyn?
julipmade94
Monochromatic girly flowers for girls night and because I got my flu shot.  Yes I have to reward myself because I have that much of a phobia of needles and yes I cry when I get shots.
julipmade95
Mr. Odin trying on one of his potential Halloween costumes. I think he got excited at the thought of being his arch nemesis because he got the zoomies.
julipmade96
Roast chicken and root veggies... flavors of fall.  Recipe to come later this week.
julipmade100
QB and wide receiver playing at the dog park. They don't take it lightly.
julipmade99
Sneaking a little training into the fun and games.  It has taken FOREVER to get this good of attention.

julipmade97
Baking bread to check of my 25 before 25 (1 week left!).  Recipe/ recap to come later this week too!
What was your weekend filled with?  What flavors and scents do you most look forward to in fall?

Bisous,
Julie

  1. Jeez you are quite the ambitious cook :) So awesome, I'm working on finding inspiration to cook. I've realized that I really like to entertain so I'm trying to use that as my motivation.

Hope you have a good week :)
