Pick-Me-Up... Strawberry Ginger Caipiroska

This is a perfect, refreshing summer cocktail with a bit of spice. It is a take on a Caipirinha except instead of cachaça it is made with vodka and in this case the last of the strawberry infused vodka.



Ingredients:

• strawberries, diced
• fresh ginger, minced (amount depends on how spicy you like it)
• mint
• 1 oz strawberry vodka
• 3 oz ginger ale

Note.  I'm not sure why the lemon is there as it was not used so disregard, although I'm sure adding a little lemon juice would be delicious as well!

1. Muddle the strawberries, mint, and fresh ginger in a cocktail shaker.  
2. Mix in ginger ale and strawberry vodka.  Don't shake.
3. Pour over ice and enjoy!
