Monday Moodboard... Sabra's Bedroom

Sabra bedroom
12, 13, 14
Happy Monday lovelies! I hope you all had a productive/ relaxing weekend. Today I'm sharing a mood board I created for the fabulous Sabra of The Lonely Wife Project. When we first discussed her bedroom, she described it as the Not So Sexy Master.  She wants to bring color, pattern, and texture into the space without too much effort or moolah.  She described her aesthetic as bohemian modern with a passion for bold colors and an affinity for mixing artwork (vintage, modern, etc..).   Well Sabra, hopefully this space won't make you want to chug the NyQuil and will promote some more exercise...

She also has a reading nook (lucky girl) in the windowsill of her bedroom that she thought needed a shot of comfort and color.

BTW, I didn't include sources because these are all 1st dibs for Sabra, but if you see something you loved, just shoot me an e-mail and I'll let you know.  I did include sources for the art because... well... artists work hard and they deserve all the sourcing/ recognition they can get.

Below are some inspiration images for a sexy boho/ modern bedroom.

  2. Bedrooms first and foremost should be a sanctuary, a place you feel relaxed. I personally love bedrooms that feature soft linens, neutral colors, and touches that are meaningful to the person who lives there. A bit of sensuality also never hurts! This bedroom is one of my all time faves: http://pinterest.com/pin/26897689/
